The Spring 2010 Concert was “Opening Night On Broadway” featuring songs from several of Rogers and Hammerstein classic shows, Guys and Dolls, Chicago, Phantom of the Opera, Le Miserables,  Rent, and songs from several current musicals. Most of the songs were very familiar to the delight of large audiences. John Ranney conducted with accompaniment by Barry Eli, Bruce Chappelle and Ken Schleifer on the piano, bass and drums respectively.

All solos were performed by SDCS members with many of the soloists pictured below.

"My Soul Now Magnifies the Lord" featured the J.S. Bach Magnificat in D  Major, Mendelssohn's Magnificat in D Major and the nativity section of Christus. The program also included six choruses and four solos from Handel's Messiah. All solos were beautifully sung by SDCS members. John Ranney conducted and organist Lee Dettra provided the  accompaniment.

Spring 2009
The program featured the "Lord Nelson Mass," "Mass In Time of War" and Roo Brown's "You Will Be With Us." John Ranney conducted and organist Paul Fleckenstein provided accompaniment. Soloists included Soprano Meghan McCall, Alto Jessica Renfro, Tenor Frederick Rey and Bass Andrew Adelsberger.
